At Branded Cuppa, we take your privacy seriously and will only use your personal information to administer your account and to provide the products and services you have requested from us.

1. What information do we collect?
We may collect, store and use the following kinds of personal data:
i. your name, email address, and any other relevant information connected with the purchase of goods from us
ii. information about your computer, your visits to and use of this website, such as your IP address, geographical location, browser type, referral source, length of visit and number of page views
iii.  information relating to any transactions carried out between you and us, including information relating to any purchases you make of our goods or services
iv. any other information that you choose to send to us.

2. Cookies
We use cookies on this website.  A cookie is a piece of data sent from a website to your browser and stored on your hard drive for future reference. We use cookies to store information previously provided by you to our site, so that you do not need to re-enter this information each time you share or request information with us. 3. Personal Data
At any time you may visit this website without identifying yourself or revealing any personal information. We do not have access to personally identifiable information related to visitors. We place cookies on visitors hard drives to collect generic information about the number of visitors to our website and pages viewed. This information is used for traffic analysis of our website. To do internal research and to better understand our customers needs, we automatically track certain information about your behaviour on our site. Information collected may include the URL address you visited just before coming to our site, the URL you leave our site to visit, your type of browser and your IP address. The data is reviewed and analysed on a collective basis and will not be linked to the identity of any individual person. No other information is retrieved from your computer.

From time to time there may be occasions when we will need information from you and will make it apparent and upfront when we are collecting personal information from you. You will always have the option not to provide information, even though it may be in your interests to do so in order to take advantage of certain features and benefits.

Branded Cuppa does not share or sell your data with third parties for marketing/communications purposes.

i. What we need
Branded Cuppa will be what’s known as the ‘Controller’ of the personal data you provide to us. We only collect basic personal data about you which does not include any special types or location based information. This does however include name, address and email address.

ii. Why we need it
We need to know your basic personal data to enable us to complete orders, invoice and contact you with regards to the product and services that we provide. We will not collect any personal data from you we do not need in order to provide or oversee this service to you.

iii. What we do with it
All the personal data that we hold is processed by our staff in the UK for the purpose of completing orders and services.
No 3rd parties have access to your personal data.

iv. How long do we keep it
The criteria that we use to determine retention periods will be determined by the nature of the data and the purposes for which it is kept.

Direct customers:

We are required under UK tax law to keep your basic personal data (name, address, contact details) for a minimum of 6 years after which time it will be destroyed.

Any information relating to an order that you place with us, including your name, email address or any other personal data will be kept on file for reference for up to 2 years.

Any information we use for marketing purposes will be kept with us until you notify us that you no longer wish to receive this information.

3rd party customers:

For any customer or client that orders via a 3rd party, we retain the right to keep a sample of the product purchased for referencing purposes indefinitely, but will not retain any identifiable personal data after 30 days from the completed transaction.

v. Your rights
If at any point you believe the information we process about you is incorrect, you may request to see this information and even have it corrected or deleted. If you wish to raise a complaint on how we have handled your personal data, you can contact our Data Protection Officer who will investigate the matter.
 If you are not satisfied with our response or believe we are processing your personal data not in accordance with the law you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

You have the following rights in regard to your data
- The right of access – individuals have the right to access their personal data and supplementary information.
- The right to rectification – the right for individuals to have inaccurate personal data rectified, or completed if it is incomplete.
- The right to erasure – the right for individuals to have personal data erased.
- The right to data portability – the right for individuals to obtain and reuse their personal data for their own purposes across different services

Exceptions
Branded Cuppa accepts that the client owns the copyright to their logo and branding whereas Branded Cuppa claim copyright to any artwork produced by Branded Cuppa. As such this would not be covered by the right to data portability. On returning the clients logo, files will be returned in the format in which it was originally supplied.

The right to object
Individuals have the right to object to the processing of their information by contacting Branded Cuppa. For example, if Branded Cuppa are processing your information on the basis of Branded Cuppa’s legitimate interests and there are no compelling legitimate grounds for our processing which override your rights and interests. You also have the right to object to use of your information for direct marketing purposes.

You may instruct us to provide you with any personal information we hold about you. Provision of such information may be subject to the payment of a fee (currently fixed at £10.00). You may instruct us not to process your personal data for marketing purposes by email to unsubscribe@brandedcuppa.com at any time.

4. Other disclosures

In addition to the disclosures reasonably necessary for the purposes identified elsewhere in this privacy policy, we may disclose information about you:

i. to the extent that we are required to do so by law;
ii. in connection with any legal proceedings or prospective legal proceedings;
iii. in order to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights (including providing information to others for the purposes of fraud prevention and reducing credit risk);
iv. to the purchaser (or prospective purchaser) of any business or asset which we are (or are contemplating) selling.

Except as provided in this privacy policy, we will not provide your information to third parties.

5. Security of your personal data

We will take reasonable technical and organisational precautions to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of your personal information. We will store all the personal information you provide on our secure servers. Of course, data transmission over the internet is inherently insecure, and we cannot guarantee the security of data sent over the internet.

6. Policy amendments
We may update this privacy policy from time-to-time by posting a new version on our website. You should check this page occasionally to ensure you are happy with any changes. We may also notify you of changes to our privacy policy by email.

7. Third party websites
This website contains links to other websites. We are not responsible for the privacy policies or practices of any third party websites.

8. Updating information
Please let us know if the personal information which we hold about you needs to be corrected or updated.

9. Proof of Consent
Proof of consent is an important cornerstone of the GDPR legislations. Branded Cuppa allows its clients to opt-in, opt-out or delete details. This is performed by emailing a request to our Data Protection Officer.  Given consents are recorded against your account via date stamp.
